I KNOW WHO I AM

Dear Friend:

2013 has indeed been a year of favour, glory to God!
I cant help but sing with Sinach:

"We are a chosen generation
Called forth to show His excellence
All I require for life; God has given me
And I know who I am

I know who God says I am;
What He says I am
Where He says am at;
I know who I am

I’m working in power,
I’m working miracles
I live a life of favor,
Cause I know who I am

I know who I am (Repeat)
I am holy, I am righteous oh…
I am so rich, I am beautiful

I’m working in power,
I’m working miracles
I live a life of favor,
Cause I know who I am

Take a look at me, I’m a wonder
It doesn’t matter what you see now
Can you see His glory, ‘Cause I know who I am
Ohh oh oh, oh oh oh
I know who I am

Are Prophets Still Important?

Hi All,

Long time no blog...

So, I came across this article by Michelle McClain, in Charisma Magazine, which I think is balanced for this global audience.

Cheers,
G.S.
.....

Even if we've been burned by misguided prophetic words, we can't afford to dismiss prophecy or the office of a prophet. Here's why.
Mention the word prophet to some people and their palms get sweaty, a lump develops in their throat and they begin eyeing the door. For many, it's not because they don't believe in prophecy; it's because they're fed up with being burned by overzealous prophets and unbalanced prophecies, and they're ready to throw in the towel.

No matter how we feel about prophets, however, one thing is certain: They are God's idea—yes, even when they mess up, cause havoc or make life difficult for a church's senior leaders. God designed the Church to need this crucial office.

He also knew the Church's desire to completely wipe its hands of prophets and prophecy. For this reason, He commanded us in 1 Thessalonians 5:19-20: "Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies." Notice that God links the Holy Spirit's ability to move freely among Believers—and not be suppressed or snuffed out—with the prophetic. The word despise comes from the Greek word exoutheneo, meaning "to make of no account, to regard as nothing, to despise utterly, to treat with contempt." Verse 21 goes on to say: "Test all things; hold fast what is good." This is a needful caution when dealing with the prophetic.

Indeed, God knew from the beginning that using inherently broken people to serve as His mouthpiece would result in more than a few broken transmissions—and yet this was His perfect plan. Today that plan continues as He brings reformation to the prophetic office and realm. The word reformation, defined as "to straighten out thoroughly," comes from the Greek word diorthosis. In a physical sense, it refers to making straight, restoring to its natural and normal condition something that in some way protrudes or has become out of line, such as a broken or misshapen limb. To some, the prophetic has certainly become like a broken limb to the Body.

By the same token, we must understand the weightiness of what it means to be a prophet. Can you imagine the responsibility to speak for God—to hear, see and interpret the heart and mind of God for your generation? Can you fathom having the courage to then speak this out loud in a culture in which one mistake can seemingly disqualify you for life, regardless of your track record?

I am an advocate of prophets. I'm not blind to the mistakes they've made in the past, and I'm aware of their challenges today. But the Church should extend the same mercy and grace it gives to a pastor who preaches a lousy sermon to a prophet who "misses it." The Church is not a material building but a spiritual house built of living stones—we who are to be built as the habitation of God by the Spirit. Today, even through all the scars and wounds caused by prophetic misfires, Christ is still building His Church by the power of His Spirit through prophets and prophetic ministry.

Yet if the Church is to mature into the fullness God desires, it must utilize and properly position prophets and prophecy. To eliminate prophets from the building process of the Church is to take away the key of knowledge, which is one of the most vital tools in building strong New Testament Churches. It isn't possible to lead a Spirit-empowered church or a ministry without direct leadership of the Holy Spirit in the daily flow of the Church. Prophets are essential to the maturing of the Church because they have been gifted with an ability to hear relevant wisdom and insight from God.

Proactive Prophecy
God intends for the New Testament Church to be blessed with the gift of prophecy. When the Body of Christ properly positions prophets and prophecy, we are empowered to accomplish more while expending less energy.

If you study how prophecy is addressed throughout the New Testament, you'll find that every Word relating to prophetic gifts and their operation in the Church requires the Believer to take initiative and responsibility in how this gift functions. The apostle Paul—who certainly had the most to say about prophecy's role in the Church—admonishes Believers to desire, covet, stir up, seek and excel in prophecy for the edification of the Body of Christ.

Christianity is mostly proactive. If we want to see the power of God released in our generation, we must learn to take the initiative and to excel. To excel is to be pre-eminent. Scripture says the prophet Daniel was 10 times better than the magicians of Babylon (Daniel 1:20). There must be a level of excellence in prophetic ministry.

Many times Christians trust the sovereignty of God in a non-biblical manner. They believe that if the Lord wants to give them a prophetic word, He'll simply deliver a word as if it fell from the sky. Though God obviously is able to give anyone a prophetic word, this "accidental" prophecy perspective isn't the full pattern of Scripture. Pre-eminent prophets are those who have learned to co-labor with Him.

We must "covet to prophesy" (1 Corinthians 14:39, KJV). Covet is a passionate, active word from the Greek word zēlōtē, which means one burning with zeal—a zealot. To covet means to be eagerly desirous of or zealous to acquire something. It also means to defend or contend for it.

Developing the Gift
Paul admonishes Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:14-15 not to "neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all" (NKJV).

If you are going to be excellent in ministering spiritual gifts, you must give serious attention to the development of those gifts. The Amplified Bible's translation of this verse says we should "practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties; throw yourself wholly into them [as your ministry], so that your progress may be evident to everybody."

One of the most effective ways to cultivate the gift of prophecy is to study the Biblical definitions on how the gift functions and what role it plays in building the Church. It's important to study the foundational principles of the prophetic found in the Bible so that we are grounded in truth. Paul wrote that we should not be ignorant of spiritual gifts (see 1 Corinthians 12:1). I believe ignorance is the primary reason the Church is not walking in the fullness of the Spirit.

Hosea 4:6 reveals that God's people "are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary defines ignorance as "the condition of being uneducated, unaware, uninformed and inexperienced." It is the lack of a workable knowledge, information or education. Ignorance destroys the proper placement of prophets and prophetic gifts in the Body of Christ.

Words of Life and Light
Prophets are among the greatest gifts the Lord has given the Body of Christ, partly because of their God-given ability to build with words. Words spoken in the correct setting can bring forth life and healing to the human heart. Proverbs 25:11 says, "Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a word spoken in right circumstances" (NASB). It only takes one word fitly spoken to a hurting soul to introduce or reintroduce Jesus Christ into that life.

People are controlled with words. Dignity is restored with words. Love is communicated through words. And our worlds are framed and created by words. Many believe that prophets are called to uproot and tear down. Though that's a vital part of the prophet's ministry, the ability to build up and create is also a vital function of the prophetic office. One God-empowered word can bring light, structure and fulfillment into a life that is dark, void and without hope, purpose or form.

Genesis 1:3 marks God's first recorded words as "Let there be light." God wasn't simply foretelling light; His Words were literally creating light. A prophet's first devotion should be to release light and, by doing so, expose darkness. It is time to bring restoration, not devastation.

It takes little effort to uproot and tear down, but it takes love, patience and wisdom to plant and build. Many immature prophets—especially those with strong deliverance backgrounds—are quick to identify the devil's work in a person without any concern for the human soul. They can accurately identify problems yet fail to give solutions.

A mature prophet, on the other hand, offers what I call prophetic prescriptions. He or she doesn't give blanket prophecies, but instead truly listens to the Holy Spirit regarding the condition of each human soul. True prophetic ministry imparts grace and truth that sets people free, showing them the way out of their sin or to higher levels of spiritual maturity.

From Foundation to Revelation
The primary directive of prophetic ministry is to cause Believers to build their lives on the foundation of Christ. Prophets help to lay this foundation into the very nature and life of Believers by speaking divinely given words that are based upon God's purpose and destiny of each life. We know that the Holy Spirit always testifies of Jesus, so the essence of prophetic ministry, then, is the revelation of the person, power and work of Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 29:18 says that, "Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but happy is he who keeps the law" (NKJV). Revelation is the revealed will of God for your life—the prophetic vision, in other terms. So where there is no prophetic vision, the people are unrestrained, which means they will be untrained in the ways of God, living life without the discipline of God.

We are called to be disciples of Christ. A disciple is a disciplined learner. The prophetic ministry equips you with the advantage of living under the discipline of God. When we don't have this prophetic vision guiding our lives, we tend to live in a vacuum.

One translation of Proverbs 29:18 puts it this way: "Without prophetic vision people run wild" (GW). In other words, we live our lives with no control, direction, rhyme or reason. The prophetic word brings order and structure in life, while also reminding you of a higher vision. God wants your life to mean something, and the prophetic word causes you to live for something greater than yourself. It stirs you to look for eternal purpose and not instant gratification. It changes your value system. Once the revealed purpose of the Lord is known, it causes you to set your affections on things above, transcending this temporal world.

Many people—including Believers—live their lives never knowing and obeying the prophetic purpose of God. The graveyard is one of the richest places on the earth. It's filled with those who lived with so much potential for greatness yet never impacted the world around them. Don't let your epitaph read, "It was as if he were never here," or "She settled for too little," or "He never discovered the treasure inside of him."

Life without Christ can be like having the wind knocked out of you. The prophetic word provides spiritual oxygen for life and eternal destiny. Prophecy is the Holy Spirit's breath of life being released back into you. When God breathed into Adam, He released life and prophetic purpose into him.

God's Road Map for Your Life
God desires to give us pictures, maps and directions as to how we are to live. He wants to lead us through every turn and season of life. We can discover His will for our lives, and this is often revealed by prophecy. Everything in the world tries to keep us from the original purposes of God for our lives. It dangles every kind of glittery enticement in front of us, and its ultimate goal is to lead us down paths of destruction.

But God, in His love and mercy, sends prophets and prophetic people with insight and direction. We must then make a decision whether we'll follow and align our lives with a revealed, tested prophetic word.
The moment you choose to align your life with the prophetic purpose of God, you'll discover that the Lord responds—and often quickly. He sends every resource you need to accomplish His prophetic purpose for your life. You're not in this world by chance, nor has God left you without His guidance. Regardless of your past experiences, embrace the prophetic anointing that gives you an advantage to live a rich and full life.

Chain Breaker

Friend,

It doesn't matter what or who has you bound,
There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain!
No matter how strong those bonds have been forged,
They cannot withstand the Name above all names!

"And it shall come to pass in that day,
that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder,
and his yoke from off thy neck,
and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing."
(Isaiah 10:27)

I hear the chains falling off of you, off your your family, off the nations of the earth,
In Jesus name!

Amen.

Use Me LORD

Hi!

The Psalmist begins his praise with "Out of the mouth of babes, Thou hast ordained praise..."

I came across a great song by Jotta. A., a cover really, which is becoming my mainfesto:

Enjoy.

.....

Probe me, Use me Probe me, Sir, and know me

You break my heart

transform me according to Your word

and fill me up until I find in me only You

Then... use me, Sir, use me

Like a lighthouse that shines at night

Like a bridge over the waters

Like a shelter in the desert

Like a arrow that hits the target

I want to be used, the way that pleases You

Anytime and anywhere

Here is my life

Use me, Sir, Use me

Probe me, break me

Transform me, fill me up and use me  Sir

....
Amen

2013 A YEAR OF ORDER by BILL BURNS:

Hi!

So, true to my promise, here is a prophetic word fro the year from another Servant of God. (I cut -n-pasted it from a FB friend. For your benefit of course....)

Shalom.

................
This message is a continuation of the "2012 A Year of Discovery" word. The overall theme of last year's prophetic overview was Divine Government. In this past year God began to establish this divine government (rule) in the hearts of His people. His people are those whose desire is to live in the fullness of His kingdom.

The establishment of the government of God will be progressive, and each progression will come with a shifting in the spiritual realm. The major shift this year will produce "Divine Order". This will be a major work of the Holy Spirit in 2013. If order is not established, government will not work properly.

The Trumpet:

The foundation of My government has been established in the hearts of My people. Now, My house will be built, and My kingdom will be established. Divine order will become the present work of My Spirit in this year. Order must be established in the lives of My people because disorder will govern the world and its systems. Make every effort to establish yourselves in My order. You can do this by staying in touch with Me, and by allowing My Spirit to guide you from day to day. Stay connected!

The Progression

The spiritual progression of divine government is established in God's Word, and the pattern is found in the Book of Joshua. After 40 years in the wilderness for rebellion to God's rule, Israel entered into the promise of God.

Joshua 1:1-3 After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying: "Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them-the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses."

Their journey began by crossing over through the Jordan River, which represents the anointing (Joshua 3). They were anointed for the journey. Our present journey is also established by the anointing and the 12 doves that visited our house this summer.

Twelve stones were set up in the Jordan River as a sign of God's order, and twelve stones were also taken from the river and set up in Gilgal (Joshua 4). Gilgal means "a rolling stone." It represents the place of covenant promise. The twelve stones represent the foundation of God's government set over our hearts. (Exodus 28:15-20) Gilgal is also the place where the past reproach was removed.

Joshua 5:9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you." Therefore the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.

2013-A Year of Victory

God's order as established by the anointing, covenant promise, and liberty from the past sets us up for victory according to the pattern. The first battle for Israel's conquest was at Jericho.

Joshua 6:1-4 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said to Joshua: "See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets."

Twelve is the number of divine government and thirteen is the number of divine order (obedience) that leads to victory. Israel marched around Jericho once for 6 days and then 7 times on the 7th day. Six and seven are thirteen, the number of victory that comes as a result of obedience to God's rule and His directives.

Extraordinary Grace

The apostle Paul was not in the upper room with the twelve, but on the Road to Damascus he became the 13th apostle. On the Road to Damascus Paul was brought into divine government and order.

The anointing that Paul walked in is what I call the anointing of victory. Listen to Paul's testimony:

2 Timothy 3:11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra-what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.

2 Timothy 4:17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

This anointing of victory that is coming to God's people this year was spoken of prophetically by Marsha Burns:

Small Straws--November 30, 2012: I am releasing a wave of extraordinary grace that will see you through the weeks ahead. For, I will indeed empower you to do what is necessary to fulfill that which is required of you. This is a time to lean on Me for strength and wisdom. Do not forget that I am your help in times of trouble, so you must not depend on your own understanding. Rather, rise up in the supernatural realm of the Spirit to gain insight and spiritual support, says the Lord. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my weakness, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Grace is empowerment, and the anointing is that which empowers us to live in victory.

Victory Over Generational Decrees

For some time now we have known that generational curses must be broken off of God's people so that they can be set free from generational assignments. However, some generational curses have been around for so long and have become so strong that they have become decrees that can't be broken.

For these kinds of curses, a decree must be written that cancels the generational decree. This wisdom comes from the Book of Esther. The king wrote a decree that couldn't be broken (see Esther chapter 8). So he instructed Esther and Mordecai.

Esther 8:8
8 "You yourselves write a decree concerning the Jews, as you please, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's signet ring; for whatever is written in the king's name and sealed with the king's signet ring no one can revoke."

11 By these letters the king permitted the Jews who were in every city to gather together and protect their lives-to destroy, kill, and annihilate all the forces of any people or province that would assault them, both little children and women, and to plunder their possessions.

The result of the decree was revealed in:

Esther 9:1 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day, the time came for the king's command and his decree to be executed. On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, the opposite occurred, in that the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated them.

On the 13th day victory came. This is the year for the writing of decrees that will bring victory. If you have broken generational curses and haven't gotten free, try writing a decree that gives you the right to freedom from the hindrances that are set against you.

Expect The Unexpected

This was a word that the Lord spoke to me: "Expect the unexpected to take place in 2013." I understand this to mean:

  • Unexpected blessings will take place.
  • Unexpected visitations from angelic beings will take place.
  • Unexpected manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit will take place.
  • Unexpected signs and wonders will take place.
  • Unexpected opportunities will present themselves.

It is a year in which we can't keep God in our proverbial box. We should, instead, expect the unexpected in 2013.

Os Hillman-Pray for Those in Authority

Hi!

People of God, let us pray...

If ever there was a  year that will be defined by prayer, it is this one,2013. A lot hangs in the balance, and it could be one prayer away from tipping point. Let us be zealous and dilligent in this.

"Father, we commit the entire Government of Kenya to you:
  • from the Legislature that they may pass righteous laws,
  • to the Executive that they may rule wisely,
  • to the Judiciary that they may execute justice.

We decree that this year we shall not see bloodshed: may the blood of Jesus speak on behalf of the nation wherever  and wherever there is blood demand from the Kingdom of Darkness. We uphold the covenant of God over this land.

This year we expect a downpour of miracles in the nation, even in the government.
May Josephs arise and take their place.
May Daniels arise and take their place.
May Esthers arise and take their place.
May Davids be anointed and take their place.
This year your righteous government shall be established, both covertly and overtly. The government shall be upon Your shoulders.

Father, raise Kenya's status in the council of nations. May she always stand in covenant with Israel your covenant people.Take away reproach from her and may she stand as a shining light.

This shall be a supernatural year. We shall witness Your power working in the affairs of men to implement your divine will and strategy.

We decree Isaiah 61 upon the Church in Kenya. This year, we shall grow into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. We will walk into our destiny as a global intergenerational voice for your Kingdom. Your counsel shall stand in the nations. We shall be ambassadors to the nations for your kingdom, in Jesus name.

Our Economy will witness supernatural transformation in favour of the weak and the poor. Our Ginii index will shift in favor of them. Father, we speak economic genious to our economists, managers and  planners and strategists. We speak integrity and that x-factor that Africa has lacked so far that it was left behind as the other nations prospered. We bless the continent of Africa. We at the Equator speak a direct illumination of the wisdom of the Son of God. This shall be a game changer year.

When others are in darkness, the Church shall be in light. You shall keep us in your perfect will.

We speak no weapon formed against the nation of Kenya shall prosper, for the church is on guard. We join you Jesus in interceeding for the nations.A new generation arises, equip us to take over for You. The end time revival starts this year.

Kenya is your nation, God. We say yes LORD to You this Jubilee year. Jesus, you are our Jubilee.

Come proclaim the year of the LORD's favour over the land and the people, that the captives may go free.

In Jesus name,

Amen.

Pray for Those in Authority
TGIF Today God Is First Volume 2 by
Saturday, October 13 2012

"I urge, then, first of all, requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all men; for kings and those in authority" (1 Timothy 2:1). In I Timothy 2:1 Paul exhorts his young protegé to make prayer and intercession for those in authority the first work of the church.

Whereas we once thought of those in politics, military, religion, and economics as controlling the earth, today we recognize the enormous influence wielded by those in the workplace. Our mindsets are changing; those in the workplace, including business leaders, we now include as those in authority. They, too, are among those Paul exhorted Timothy to cover in prayer.

God is transferring his anointing to be placed upon all saints to get the job done. This is requiring the local church to give more focus on equipping men and women to live out their faith in the workplace. The modern day Church is in a major shift! It is not surprising that the Lord would begin to move in this way. If we are going to see a major harvest in the last days, it will have to come through the largest segment of the body of Christ - those who are Christ's representatives in government, business, and education.

The book of Acts records Lydia, a businesswoman, as God's instrument to introduce the gospel to Europe. The Ethiopian eunuch who was in charge of the treasury of Candace, "Queen of the Ethiopians", introduced the gospel to Africa. Peter launched the gospel into the gentile world through Cornelius, a Roman centurion. And three "workplace ministers" reached Europe, Africa, and the gentiles. These examples indicate the importance of the workplace influence and why intercession is so important for leaders in places of authority.

Today, pray for those leaders in government, business and education.

2013: THE YEAR OF THE FINGER OF GOD

Hi All,
So this word was shared  by Pastor Prince Obasi-Ike from the Redeemed Gospel Church, Solution Centre, Nairobi for 2013.

I will endevor to share snippets of focus words for this year. Without vision, people cast  of restrain. Be empowered.
G.S.
………….

God said that this is the year of the finger of God.

The finger of God is not going to be limited to the area that we are, it will be a global phenomenon.

Four Things that the Finger of God stands for:

1.       The power of God:

The initial signs of Gods power had been imitated by Pharaohs magicians for the first three plagues, but it came to a point that God said enough is enough. He gave Moses a sign that was so potent that the magicians of Egypt said, this is but the ‘finger of God.”

Even where people have exhibited their power, there comes a time that God shows that he has not relinquished his power. As we progress this year, you will be at liberty to say to God, “LORD let your finger be seen in this case in that case in this situation in that situation. And he will. There is no evil of years past that will follow you to 2013. Powers of darkness will not be able to stop the operational powers of the kingdom of God in 2013. Because it is the year of the finger of God.

2.       Justice and Judgment:

John 8:1-10. When the people brought the woman caught in the act of adultery to Jesus to judge according to the law, Jesus stooped down and with his finger wrote down on the dust, as if he did not hear them. He said to them,, “He that is without sin, let him cast the first stone at her,” then again he stooped down and wrote. And the people convicted in their own consciences, went away, beginning with the eldest. Then he said to her, woman, where are those thine accusers? Go and sin no more.

The finger of God stands for justice and judgment. In Exodus 31, we see that the 10 commandments were written by the finger of God. Jesus knowing that, he stooped down and wrote again in the dust. By one finger of God, he wrote not on stone again but on dust. Even when the woman was caught in the act, he wrote grace in their hearts. That finger demanded a different kind of law: one who has sin cannot judge another sinner, with that leaving us an example to be merciful to each other. He wrote that you ought to forgive when you have sin.

3.       Deliverance: When you say, LORD, let your finger manifest in this situation you ask for his deliverance. In Gen 4:16 Cain had done an abominable thing, and God spoke and judged but God stood and spoke for him and appointed a sign for him on his forehead that nobody would slay him. The LORD by his finger set a mark upon Cain. In  Luke 11: 20 Jesus says, “But if I by the finger of God cast out demons, then the kingdom of God is upon you.”  Expect many deliverances in 2013.

My prayer for you is that you thank God and do whatever God wants you to do and live upright. Jesus was casting out devils by the finger of God. In this year of the finger of God we will see all of that. Psalms 140:1 says “Blessed be the LORD my Rock who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight.” This shows the significance of the finger. God fights with his finger and teaches his children to do the same.

4.       Direction:

The finger of God points us to the direction that he wants us to go. God will give us direction to go where he wants us to focus. In the book of Exodus 13 “and he gave unto Moses the two tablets of stone graven by the finger of God. And on them were written according all the words the LORD had written all the words. The Scriptures are our constitution as the kingdom of God. God wrote this constitution to govern us as the citizens of the kingdom. It was written for our sakes to give us direction.

Keep to the word of God this 2013. Let the word of God govern your life this 2013 and you will see the manifestation of the Kingdom of God.

Shalom

Kenya, Its Your Time!

Hey!

You made it!

Happy 2013! This is the year of the LORD, the year of signs and wonders! Amen.

Decree with me, "I am Kenya and this is My time!"

As a child of God, like Daniel, you shape the destiny of this nation.

Now more than ever, we must arise to our high calling and secure this nation as a launching pad for the end time revival. Evangelist Wairimu has been speaking it for years, Oral Roberts alluded to this in 2006 during a Benny Hinn This is You Day show, not to mention all the other men of God.

We are the generation of Joshuas to secure the promise

As a watchman on the wall, I will not keep silent until thee LORD make Jerusalem,Israel, and this my Jerusalem-Kenya- a praise on the earth. Surely a nation shall be born in a day.

And so, I position myself on the wall. expecting the great in this time and in this season. Pastor Julian Kyula shared that 2013 will be a year of "the enemy coming like a flood, with great apostasy and rebellion." like the number 13.

He also shared that it will be a year we will witness the Jubilee of the LORD, as the Land of Kenya enters its season of divine restoration as the nation is in its 49th year and is about to enter its golden age of 50.

He noted that these two aspects will war against each other, and now more than ever, the church needs to be in prayer. We are not to walk in presumption or be ignorant of the enemies devices.

Before you play an excellent offense, you must have a reliable defense. This year we are to walk in love, with pure faith and fervent hope. Now more than ever, we need to know and believe what God is saying and go deeper in Scripture. Then will we speak and the darkness dissipate. Its not about 'karate' Christianity, its about getting the basics right and walking in the light.

I believe and pray that God is going to turn it around for this nation.

He will perfect what concerns Kenya, sooner or later, it will turn in her favour.

And so, we wait on the LORD to have mercy on Kenya...Isaiah 18 intimates that its going to be a battle for the soul of this nation. But we of the Light will win.

We need you LORD like the desert needs the rain!
You open up your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing,
Remember us as a nation.
Turn around our captivity O God!

We look unto you!

Amen.
